Nathalie is an innovator and an "out of the box thinker" with more of 20 years of professional experience in the private and public sector. She has been minister of state for several occasions, Ambassador of Ecuador to United States and currently she is the President of NCS, Nexus for Competitiveness and Society. A true advocate for women rights and founder of the Women Innovation National Award and the first women business accelerator of Latin America. She founded Wallqa as a mean to internationalize Ecuadorian Fashion, culture and traditions to the World.

Ximena Torres
From Óvalo Jewelry, she won the contest “Wallqa to the world” created by The Designers Society and Wallqa Artisanal. She had to create a proposal based on Ecuador’s traditions in order to have the opportunity to be part of The Society Fashion Week in the context of New York’s Fashion Week on September 2019.
Ximena has worked for more than 20 years in the industry, with a vision of aesthetics and creativity combining pearls, stones, and precious rocks.
